Lisa is a Director at WK Strawbridge, bringing a wealth of experience and a strategic lens to the team. A graduate of the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Commerce, Lisa is a Chartered Accountant, a Xero Certified advisor, and an accredited Mindshop Facilitator (AMSF).

Over the course of her career, Lisa has seen the accounting industry undergo a complete transformation. While it was once defined by compliance and historic reporting, she views modern accounting as being driven by real-time insights, strategy, and genuine business partnerships. Her expertise lies in turning complex financial information into clear, practical decisions that help businesses grow and thrive. Lisa takes immense professional pride in being a catalyst for her clients’ success, helping them navigate challenges and make better-informed decisions.

Originally a North Islander, Lisa has embraced the “Top of the South” lifestyle. She feels fortunate to have spent time in both the Marlborough Sounds and the Abel Tasman, and she never tires of the region’s spectacular scenery.

Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys traveling and hiking at a relaxed pace that allows her to soak in the views. Above all, she values spending time with her family and staying grounded in what matters most.

Fun Fact: Lisa officially retired from the kitchen years ago after her then 12 and 8-year-old sons began providing “My Kitchen Rules” style critiques of her meals. The final straw was a comment that began with, “Look Mum, I can see where you were going with this…” Fortunately, the critique paid off; she now has two sons who are excellent cooks and a husband who ensures she never goes hungry.
