Tim is a Senior Advisor at WK Strawbridge, he has the qualification of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Maths & Physics degree from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. 

With a decade of experience in farming and agriculture, including nine years spent in the UK, Tim brings significant sector-specific knowledge to his role. His areas of expertise extend to taxation and tax planning, as well as budgeting and forecasting. 

He values the opportunity to build relationships with clients, understanding their businesses thoroughly to facilitate their success. Tim earned his ACCA qualification in 2011 and joined WK in May 2025. Tim has seen a considerable shift towards computer-based and technology-driven accounting practices over the last two decades, which he believes has streamlined operations and improved the quality of service provided.

Having moved to Nelson in 2024 after emigrating to New Zealand in 2023, Tim appreciates the region’s outdoor lifestyle. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys tramping and can often be seen at the local Parkrun. He also joins a local bunch of people at Tahuna beach for an early morning dip 🥶

A keen supporter of Manchester United, Tim also volunteers at a community kitchen and has recently skydived over Lake Taupo.
